It may not feel like it but spring is right around the corner. It might be hard but it is time to say goodbye to all that cold weather. Along with the flowers growing and the birds chirping comes spring cleaning. In springtime we can to be happier and full of energy, and it would be a good idea to put all this energy to use. Whether it be attic or the garage it is time for a good cleaning. So here are five tips that would do you well when it comes to spring cleaning.
Tip number one when we store away our winter clothes it is crucial that we use large plastic containers. I know you might be tempted to just leave your clothes on the hanger in the closet. Here is why that is a bad idea. If you leave your clothes out they will suffer discoloration and harbored dust. Plastic containers are rather inexpensive and you can continue to use them year after year.
Tip number two Roll don't fold! Do not fold your clothes, it would be best to roll them because of this will allow more room to put more clothes.
Tip number three the clothes that you realize you will no longer wear again you should donate to the Goodwill. Instead of just trashing them you will be helping all those who are less fortunate and helping the planet at the same time. Plus it is a good idea not to hoard of these or clothing because it will just contribute to more mess in the long run.
Tip number four A garage sale or a trip to the local flea market would be a smart idea to get rid off some of the items you no longer need. This will get rid off the clutter in your house and also bring in a few bucks in the process.
Tip number five since you will be doing a lot of work it might be a good idea to switch to a lightweight vacuum cleaner or even a robotic vacuum. It is all about working smart and not working hard. Sometimes we must work hard but with all these technology it is now possible to have a clean home with less manual labor, use of this to your advantage.
